Welcome to the LifeVal user guide for Life Insurance Valuation. This site walks business users, actuaries and administrators through every major workflow required to prepare calculations, manage actuarial calculations and administer access on the platform.

Who should use this guide

  • Finance and actuarial teams preparing life insurance valuation outputs.
  • Operational users onboarding their organization, managing daily runs and retrieving reports.
  • Administrators controlling user access, managing client entities and working with API keys for third-party integrations.

Prerequisites

  • Active Account: A verified LifeVal account (see Sign Up).
  • Organization Access: You must belong to an organization, either by creating one or being invited.
  • Data Files: Prepared datasets (Policy Data, Mortality Tables, Multi-Decrement Tables and Product Structures) in supported formats (CSV or Excel) for valuation runs.
  • Browser: A modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) with JavaScript enabled.

How this guide is organized
